Types of window handle
Cockspur Handle: the most basic type of window handle. The handle “nose” secures over a wedge on the frame to
seal and secure the window.
TBT Handle: a window handle designed specifically for tilt before turn (TBT) or turn-first (TNT) windows. Operates
in 3 distinct modes: Closed position, Tilt position and Turn position.
Espag Handle: a window handle that drives a square spindle to operate an espagnolette or shootbolt locking
system. These are the most common type of window handle currently fitted to PVCU windows.
